Once you achieve your goals after a training course, it is essential you maintain them if you are to enjoy their full benefits.

Here are some things that will help you stay in condition and remain committed to personal health and physical fitness:

  1. You need to make a trip to the gym for a proper workout at least once every 1 or 2 weeks
  2. Maintain your fitness by setting yourself an exercise challenge once a weekjogging.jpg
  3. When doing hard cardiovascular exercise such as running or cycling, make it as challenging as possible
  4. The same applies to weight training - make it hard on yourself, set new goals, challenge your body.
  5. Try new and different routines to always keep your exercise regime interesting
  6. Make sure you add some functional full body movements into your training to stimulate and train your nervous system - it will only be as efficient as you train it to be.
Most important of all, when you have achieved your goals, build on them and stay committed and motivated to your new strength and health. Whatever you do, don't throw it all away once you have worked so hard to empower yourself and at last become what you wanted. Why make yourself feel bad just through needless laziness?

This is great advice, Fred. When someone achieves their training goals with your help, what a waste if they just go back to how they were before. That's like an own-goal! One way to lose, and the worst.
