Fred Fergé Fitness with Style is an exceptionally well-appointed private studio gym in the heart of the beautiful Battersea Reach development on the river Thames, London. It launched in August 2009 and the best care and attention was dedicated to make it a truly inspirational place to train in. The training equipment is first rate and the space has been studied to make it both intimate and effective for any personal training needs.

Our mission is to offer the space to a selected team of fitness and health professionals who share a common goal: to improve people’s quality of life through fitness and wellbeing. As a company our aim is to be the best answer to muscular pain and desire for fitness as we strongly believe these work hand-in-hand.

We actively market the three areas of the company: personal training, sport massage and other therapies and classes like Yoga and Pilates. We also welcome our collaborators’ involvement in marketing ideas and promotional events, and we will then try to refer them clients that we feel are appropriate for their expertise.

The combined turnover of the UK Health and Fitness market in 2008 was almost £4 billion and industry experts predict that it will continue to grow year on year reaching around £4.5 billion in 2011. We are looking for a selected group of personal trainers who have already developed a client base and that can run their business independently as part of our studio team.

The deal packages we offer allow our trainers to:

• be their own boss and afford financial freedom from large gyms
• develop and own a business with no limit to their earning potential
• be self-employed and retaining all profits

Our company requires some documentation and appropriate qualifications from all applicants:

• valid fitness related qualification at minimum of NVQ Level 3
• valid first aid certificate
• valid personal liability insurance (cover at least £2 million)
• register of exercise professional
• CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check

Operating in a studio gym environment has several advantages and focuses on providing an individual service to many different types of customers:

Battersea Reach offers a great location to grow a personal training business that will thrive on existing and new opportunities in the area. There are already many offices and apartments occupied by residents with, on average, good disposable income. By 2013 the development will be completed delivering 6,000 flats in total. In January 2010 a new Nursery will be launched opening another segment with personal training aimed at mums who want to look after their fitness pre- and post-pregnancy.

We have devised two deal packages to suit different ambitions and availability: Full Time and Part Time.

Full Time Package

Full Time personal trainers pay a flat monthly fee of £549 all inclusive, anything earned over that is for the trainer to keep.

We have allowed four weeks’ holidays in a year; just eleven hours of personal training a month at £50 per hour/client will more than cover your monthly studio fee.

Part Time Package

Part Time personal trainers pay a flat monthly fee of £319 all inclusive, anything earned over that is for the trainer to keep.

We have allowed four weeks’ holiday in a year; just seven hours of personal training a month at £50 per hour/client will more than cover your monthly studio fee.

For both deal packages, it is up to the trainer and to her/his level of ambition to grow their own business to the desired result.

A well organised operation

We offer an on-line appointment booking system that allows our trainers to book their consultation without having to contact the studio.

When you are in the studio with your clients, you can focus just on the training service you are providing, all other aspects of the operation are taken care by the Studio: showers and towel facility, regular cleaning, security, equipment and studio maintenance.
